THE GAMBIA

It’s called the Smiling Coast of Africa as the Gambia cuts through the middle of Senegal and its position appears like that of a smile on the map of the continent, greeting those who make their way up the River Gambia. The Gambia is known for its wild-life specifically birds. Over 600 bird species are found in the Gambia. Hippos, cheeky monkeys, and crocodiles are breeding there also. People who find wild-life must visit the Gambia. It is also well known for its reputed ancestral village of Kunta Kinte.
